When writing a letter to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives:
Date Honorable [[Insert the Congressperson’s Full Name] United States House of Representatives ___________ Office Building, Room _________ Washington, D.C. 20515   Dear Congressperson [Insert the Congressperson’s Last Name]: My name is [Insert Your Name] and I reside at [Insert Your Address] in [Insert Your City and Your State]. I am a strong supporter of The Uniform Reporting Law Enforcement Improvement Act (URLEIA), which is a legislative proposal drafted by ONUS, Inc., to address police brutality at the local, state and national level. I and those named below request that you declare your support for URLEIA via public announcement and in writing. The Constitution guarantees all citizens of the United States of America the right to be free from unwarranted searches and seizures. Too many Americans, specifically African-Americans, Hispanics and other minorities, are being killed without justification by law enforcement agents. When law enforcement officers killed without justification, they violate the victim’s right to due process, inalienable right to live, and  Fourth Amendment right to be free from unwarranted search and seizure. We cannot tolerate officials doing nothing while our children, husbands, daughters and family members are being terrorized and killed by law enforcement. Please actively support URLEIA and do everything you can to ensure its enactment. Respectfully,
